About us

CYCLING, ADVENTURE, FRIENDS AND COFFEE

Whether you’re a social rider, a competitive athlete, or simply love exploring new roads and gravel trails, Roaming Foxes Cycling Club (RFCC) offers a welcoming and supportive community built around a shared passion for cycling – and great coffee.

From structured mid-week training sessions to relaxed weekend adventures (with the occasional mystery ride in search of cannoli), RFCC is about riding well, riding together, and having fun along the way.

New members are always welcome.

Connect with RFCC on Instagram or email us to learn more about the club.

Inclusion and diversity

Founded in January 2024 by a group of friends, RFCC was built on the belief that cycling should be inclusive, encouraging, and accessible.

We’re proud that more than 60% of our members are women, and we actively foster a culture where riders of all backgrounds and abilities feel supported, respected, and part of the community.

MIDWEEK TRAINING RIDES

Our mid-week sessions are designed to help you build fitness, confidence, and consistency.

Whether you’re preparing for an event, returning to cycling, or looking to improve your performance, we offer structured training rides that challenge and support you – without losing the social spirit that defines the club.

Weekend Adventures

Weekends are where we roam.

Our rides are generally “no drop”, meaning no one is left behind. We explore Melbourne’s iconic cycling destinations including the Dandenongs, Frankston and Mornington, Hurstbridge, and regional areas within 1–1.5 hours of Melbourne.

With both road and gravel options, our weekend adventures are an opportunity to discover incredible routes, build endurance, and enjoy the camaraderie of like-minded cyclists.

Growth and support

We actively support members participating in cycling events such as Around the Bay, Gravel Macedon, Dirty Pig & Whistle and Amy’s Gran Fondo – whether it’s your first event or your next competitive goal.

Adventures and fun

Beyond weekly rides, we organise long-weekend getaways and flash-packing gravel adventures – combining riding, exploration, and good company.

At RFCC, it’s not just about the kilometres – it’s about the experience.
